Performing Arts

Eia Waltzer, brings a spark and energy to General Music with engaging lessons on many musical concepts including tone, sight reading, recorder, xylophone, rhythm reading, drama, improv, syncopation, body movement, and much more!

Visual Arts

Beth Voelk teaches visual arts to our scholars at Wedgwood Elementary.  This past school year Students, families and teachers can feel her love for color, texture and creativity as they walk the halls of Wedgwood.

Instrumental Music

Cayley Buie teaches Instrumental Music, which is an optional in-school program open to 4th and 5th grade students. Classes are offered once a week during the regular school day and culminate with a performance in the spring. Instruments taught are flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, violin and cello. Enrollment in the program happens in the beginning of the school year, with lessons starting the end of September/beginning of October. In accordance with SPS, 5th grade students are prioritized, with remaining spots being filled by 4th grade students.
