Washington Children’s Book Award Nominees

Washington Children’s Choice Picture Book Award (WCCPBA) Nominees for 2021

The WCCPBA is an award selected by Washington state children every spring.  Each year 20 picture books are nominated by teachers and librarians across the state.  These books are shared with students who eventually vote on their favorite title.  This year’s nominees are:

The OTTER Award Nominees for 2021

The OTTER Award (Our Time To Enjoy Reading) is an award selected by students each spring.  These books tend to be transitional chapter books for students who are building their reading stamina.  Many are the first in a series which allows kids to easily find their next read.  This year’s nominees are:
