There are many ways to volunteer at Wedgwood Elementary School!

The Wedgwood PTA website organizes many current volunteer openings and up-to-date information of how you can get involved and lend a hand.

    Library Volunteers (2020-21 School Year):

Opportunities to assist with Curbside Checkout or specific library projects will be available during distance learning.  All volunteers will need to adhere to CDC guidelines.  Masks and social distancing will be required. Adults interested in volunteering in the library, please contact our librarian, Kristi Leland, at klleland@seattleschools.org.

    Musical Volunteers (2020-21 School Year):

Each spring Wedgwood Elementary students perform an amazing musical, thanks to the talents of Multi-Arts teacher, Eia Waltzer.  Ms. Waltzer works closely with students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades as actors, singers, back stage managers, and our crew (who run props, costumes, as well as the light and sound boards).  Although students take charge of the performance, this would not be possible without the support of an incredible team of parent volunteers.  If you are interested in volunteering for this year's musical, please contact Eia Waltzer at eawaltzer@seattleschools.org.

    Other Volunteers (2020-21 School Year):

Please contact your child's teacher or principal, Christy Smith, to see what other volunteer opportunities are available this year.

Before you volunteer, please review the District’s volunteer requirements.
