    KidsPlay Fitness & Homework Club

KidsPlay is a before school and after school program operated by a parent of two Wedgwood graduates. It began as a program for families with non-traditional work schedules, which are much more common these days and has evolved into a part-time to full-time program available to all families.

KidsPlay provides time for students to complete their homework and to read, as well as giving them the opportunity to participate in group fitness activities. The expectations of the students are to take part in the physical fitness sessions, completion of homework and to read their allotted time. Mornings run from 7 to 7:45 and afternoons 2:05 to 5:45, Monday through Friday. We are closed whenever school is closed, holidays, breaks, parent-teacher conference week and the occasional professional development day.  However, Mr. Oyama is open on early dismissal days!

With an email, text, or phone call, a parent can request a morning or afternoon session - sometimes for the same day. For further questions please contact Kevin Oyama at kdoyama@comcast.net or at 206-979-2868.
