Wedgwood’s Kindergarten Information Night.

Learn how you can help your preschooler prepare for kindergarten and also hear about important upcoming dates and events.

When: Thursday, June 8th - 6:15-7:15pm
Where: Wedgwood Cafeteria

This is an adult function. However, if childcare is an obstacle our PTA will provide an activity for your child. RSVP is not necessary.

If your child is not planning to attend Wedgwood in the fall please contact the office at 252-5670 or dcgordon@seattleschools.org

Summer Playdates on Wedgwood Playground

  • Sunday, July 17th: 3 - 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, August 3rd: 10 - 12 p.m.
  • Thursday, August 11th: 6 - 8 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 1st: 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Taste of Kindergarten

  • Monday, August 29th. Session One: 9 - 10 a.m. is for families whose students last name begins with A-K. Session Two: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. is for families whose last name begins with L-Z.

Kinder Meet & Greet

  • Thursday, September 1st: 5:30 - 6 p.m. on Kindergarten Classrooms

Back to School BBQ

  • September 6th: 5 - 7 p.m. on Wedgwood Playground

Family Meetings

  • September 7, 8 or 9

First Day of Kindergarten

  • Monday, September 12th: First bell rings at 7:50 a.m.

WA Kids

The Washington Kindergarten Inventory of Developing Skills (WaKIDS) is a transition process that helps to ensure a successful start to the K-12 experience and connect the key adults in a child’s life.
